Well here it is, 5261 Tegan Road...this is a 3.07 acre lot that hasn't been occupied in about 7 years. My best friends grew up here which means I spent about 95% of my time there riding horses (I lived across the street). I believe it was May of '03 when they decided to move out because the house was deteriorating with the age and rats and mice were starting to invade the home. Since they moved out I have watched the home go from bad to worse as someone bought it, got in the hole, and had to sell it.
Right now, this property is listed at $235,000 (wanted all in cash) for only one acre! Wow! To top it of the buyer bought this property for $72,000. Hmmm seem like a rip off to you? The acre that is being sold includes the house...well your going to have to put in a whole hell of a lot more money knocking down and rebuilding the house considering the rats, mice, snakes, skunks, bunnies, and what ever other creepy crawly creature has decided to make this their home the last 8 years. There has also been a guy (not mentally all there) who use to like to go into this property and make himself at home and do whatever he pleased. Neighbors have called the cops on him numerous times until he eventually disappeared. The other building you see in the pictures are sheds that are probably a hazard considering the structures are starting to fall apart last time I was there it was snake infested.
I like how heating and cooling is added in like after 7 years of all sorts of animals claiming the AC unit their home it would work yeah right. I also see sewer, water, and utilities listed as "other sewer/water (see remarks) hmmm where would those remarks be? Good luck on those... Onto the interior, listed other flooring. Well the last time I was over there in 2003 the kitchen was linoleum and the rest of the house minus the bathrooms were carpet. Well as I have mentioned the critters in the house, who wants to keep the carpet?
Heres the lies listed on this house:
1. Paved road: Yes, Tegan road is paved however if you think the driveway is paved think again...its not
2. Laundry in garage: This is personally my favorite because it is an outright lie...first of all their is no garage located on this property. The laundry room is actually in the play room which if you look at the first picture is located to the right of the tree. Also, if you look under "parking & garage" you will see they wrote "other (see remarks)...where are the remarks...oh yeah there are none.
3.Space in Kitchen: Well I guess its a personal opinion on this one but lets see there was a sink on one side of the kitchen which split the counter in half and on the other side I believe it was half a counter because of the stove which divided it. I personally think it would barely be enough room for 2 people to cook comfortably.
4.Fenced property: okay so its not a lie but listen to this...the fence is a barbed wire fence that is falling over and people easily step over them to walk across the property.
5 .The ariel view: hmmm okay so not a lie in the summer if the owner decides to cut the weeds....otherwise it just sits as a fire hazard all year.
Wanted to put the truth out there before someone decided to buy this property and deeply regret it. If it still sounds like your home then awesome I just recommend going out and seeing it in person before actually buying it.
